THE SEQUENTIALLY ILLUSTRATED JUXTAPOSITION ...OF A JIFFY
The Sequentially Illustrated Juxtaposition ...of a Jiffy is a small booklet I designed, wrote and illustrated As a MidTerm Project At my Design School. It is about time and how the duration of a moment is illustrated using comics as the main featured medium.

I steered away from an overly academic writing style, aiming instead for a playful, "Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy" vibe—scrappy, silly, and fun. This approach shaped both the writing and visuals. Though the characters were digitally drawn in Photoshop, I gave them a hand-drawn look for a whimsical feel, echoed in my choice of typefaces to match the book’s lively tone.

Since time isn't easily visualized in nature, I was intrigued by how comics depict it through visual storytelling. Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics was a key resource, offering invaluable insights for my research.

The result was a compact 14×14 cm, 50-page booklet with glue binding. Inspired by Steal Like an Artist, I chose a small format to emphasize quick readability—something charming, pocket-sized, and easy to consume in one sitting.
